Event Description

The 48 Hour Film Horror Project is coming to Minneapolis to scare the living the daylights out of you! Do you love things that go bump in the night?  Then get ready for a selection of horror films from local filmmakers. The 48 Hour Film Horror Project is a creative contest where teams of filmmakers create a horror film in a single weekend.

On Friday October 3rd all the Team Leaders drew a random horror genre and were given a prop, character, and line of dialog to include in their 4-7 minute short film. From there they had 48 hours to write, shoot, edit, and deliver their film. Come join us at The Parkway Theater for the Premieres and Awards night for a one-of-a-kind experience and meet the filmmakers involved!

It all comes down to this. We'll be screening the ten nominees for Best Film as selected by the judges while also announcing all the award winners. Then afterward we'll party in the lobby with free drinks (one per ticket holder).
